We are deepening our commitment to military members, veterans, and their families in Colorado. Thanks to your generous donations, we will continue supporting the Rocky Mountain VA Fisher House and the families it serves, while also expanding our efforts to other veteran causes where your contributions can make the greatest impact. It is an honor to provide vital support to a broader segment of the veteran community.
When a service member or veteran is undergoing medical treatment at the VA Hospital or approved facility, we make sure their family can be by their side. The Fisher House is a place where military and veteran families can stay for FREE for as long as their loved one is receiving medical treatment. This can be a week, a month or longer. Families staying at a Fisher House have all the comforts of a real home with a private bedroom and bathroom. The home also has a large living room, dining room as well as a laundry room and kitchen. Since inception, Fisher Houses have saved military and veterans’ families thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket costs for lodging.
