The Omaha VA Fisher House provides comfortable, temporary lodging at no cost to families of Veterans and Active-Duty service members receiving extended medical care. When treatment requires families to be away from home for weeks or months, the Fisher House offers a supportive “home away from home.”
Our Fisher House features 16 suites, each with a private bedroom and bathroom. Guests share a spacious kitchen, laundry facilities, a welcoming dining room, and a relaxing living area. There is never a charge for families to stay at the Omaha VA Fisher House.
Operated by the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS) and supported by the Rocky Mountain Fisher House Foundation, the Omaha VA Fisher House is maintained, staffed, and overseen by the Omaha VA.
